This highly visual talk by David Ward responds directly to the Edward Woodman exhibition and looks at relationships between artists and photographers whose images transcend documentary requirements, transmitting insights and resonances of the original, to become works of art in their own right.

This history includes Rodin, Brancusi, Man Ray and Duchamp, Brassai and Picasso, Edward Woodman and Helen Chadwick together with photographs by David Ward of sculpture by Rodin and Barry Flanagan.
