Southampton's Discover Family Arts Festival

14 October 2017

10am-4pm | FREE

Get creative and take part in Southampton’s first Discover Family Arts Festival with John Hansard Gallery, Solent Showcase, Southampton Central Library and Southampton City Art Gallery. All four venues will be offering free workshops on the day, with the opportunity to gain an Arts Award for those aged 5-25 years old.

Join John Hansard Gallery and artist Lucy Holmes-Elliott at Solent Showcase to engage with a project that is currently connecting select cities world wide; the Istanbul Biennial project 'A Good Neighbour'. Through discussion and play, we will ask what does it mean to be a good neighbour in today's world, before sharing our discoveries together on a live digital platform to help Southampton join the global conversation!

Follow the trail and discover a range of free activities listed below for all ages and abilities!
